Osnivač stila je veliki majstor KENWA MABUNI (1889-1952). Poslije smrti osnivača, Shito Ryu Karate do nasljeđuju i vode sinovi osnivača SOKE KENEI MABUNI (1918.-) i KENZO MABUNI (1927-2005.).

Shito Ryu je jedan od 4 priznata stila u svijetu, uz Goju Ryu, Wado Ryu i Shotokan Ryu. Vodeći je stil u Svjetskoj karate federaciji (WKF), koju sačinjavaju ta 4 priznata stila.

Ovaj site je namijenjen Shito Ryu majstorima, instruktorima i učenicima koji uče i proučavaju ovu prekrasnu vještinu. Pokušat će dati informacije u našem stilu karate-a, povijest i još mnogo više...

The founder of the Shito Ryu Karate Do style is the great Master KENWA MABUNI (1889-1952). After the death of the founder, Shito Ryu Karate Do is inherited and led by his sons SOKE KENEl (1918-) and KENZO MABUNI (1927-2005).

Shito Ryu Karate Do is - apart from Goju Ryu, Shotokan Ryu and Wado Ryu -one of the four recognized Karate styles in the world. It is also the leading style in World Karate Do Federation (WKF), which is comprised of those four styles.

The leading people of this Union and Shito Ryu Karate Do style are the technical director of the Union (the "nationally appointed) Shihan Bogdan Lipić 6°DAN WSKF, the secretary of the Union Sensei Mladen Belavic 3°DAN WSKF, president of the Union Mr. Ivan Vuk and spokespersons of the Union Sensei Emir Pretnar 2°DAN WSKF, Mladen Pisačić and Marko Zoričić.
